How do I measure correctly?
Measure the area to be protected and enter both dimensions in the corresponding fields.
- Width is the dimension at the top of the preview, length the one on the right – as in the drawing.
- Both dimensions in centimetres, to the millimetre.
- Allowance: for “Cut it yourself” a centimetre of allowance that you trim on site helps. For “Exactly to size” we cut exactly the entered dimensions.

Which surfaces can the film be used on?+
For smooth, sealed surfaces: painted and laminated wood, glass, ceramics, metal, smooth plastics and automotive paint. Not for oiled, waxed or open-pored wood or rough surfaces. For lightly textured or unknown surfaces we test adhesion on a sample – send us a photo.

That depends on the cutting option. With "Exactly to size" the entered dimensions are the final dimensions – measure the surface precisely and add nothing. With "Cut it yourself" add about one centimetre all round, which you trim at the edge after applying. Measure at several points; furniture is rarely square to the millimetre.

With "Cut it yourself" you receive a piece of film in your width and length and trim edges, radii and cut-outs on site with a knife. With "Exactly to size" we cut the contour of your shape to your specifications – you just lay it on. The surcharge for this is €9.90 per piece.

Work in pairs and split it into strips. For rectangles and squares the configurator calculates the strips for you, with a 2 cm overlap for the seam. The seam is barely visible on transparent film if it sits on an edge or joint.
Notes per surface →Do I need the Application Kit?+
For a clean result you need application solution (or water with a drop of washing-up liquid), a squeegee with a felt edge, a lint-free cloth and, for "Cut it yourself", a sharp knife. That is exactly what the Application Kit contains, together with the illustrated guide – it is enough for several applications. If you already have the tools, you can order the film on its own.

Film made to your dimensions is custom-made and excluded from the right of withdrawal. The Application Kit and other non-customised items can be returned within fourteen days – the details are in the withdrawal policy. If something is wrong, contact us with a photo before applying.
